7 days old Article Post Got PR2, Possible?

    Title says it all, Is it possible to gain a PR2 without PR update in just 7 days?
    Strange right? Well check out this guy's blog post, its just 7 days old and it got PR2.

    I think previously you had a very good PR and good backlinks for your site, that was helped to got the PR.

    Woah, I guess it's possible, but it's the first I've seen it happen. I just don't know how it could be possible considering there hasn't been a PR update. However, I guess Google is performing PR updates throughout so he could've been hit despite the fact that there hasnt been a huge update.

    Exactly, And its quite strange how can it happen? May be that guy got PR8 on his Home Page thats the reason?:confused:

    I have had this happen before but it is when I launch a website where a lot of backlinks pour in. For an individual page it is pretty easy if the homepage has high pr, page gets a few authority links, and google indexes it quickly. I have dealt with high pr homepages though PR6 and above but sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.
