some people never learn. Only if they had used the skills they put in making all those iframes in developing a better site soon we would have one more thread of "i am banned, but i didn't do anything wrong" but i guess google would mail them before banning in this case. lets wait and watch.

I believe that if it says "Ads by Google" and not the usual "Ads by Gooooooogle" then it's a premium publisher.
Joystiq is part of the Weblogs network, which is a giant blogging network. They can do whatever they want because they are premium publishers. Don't report people willy nilly, make sure you do some research first.
It wasn't "willy nilly". Almost all other premium publishers have their ads in different formats to standard. These aren't, besides the Ads by Google bit. Anyway, like it's going to do any harm.
iFrames tricks are certain, a Google ban and even God's mediation are less certain, but one thing is for sure: this is not the way to make bucks even if you are MEAN.
