7,843 impressions 605 clicks, $19.60 Adsense is starting to piss me off!

Today i checked yesterdays total earnings, although i have only 1 adsense code on my website, which is on the download pages of www.uploadline.com
check this out,

widgetbucks however is paying me more for 50 clicks,

wtf is going on with adsense?

 

3 Cents a click, that really sucks.

 

It goes up and down. The other day I made $2.14 off of 2 clicks. I wish I knew more about this so I could figure out how to get the best out of this.

You've got the same average as me, pretty much all my sites have averaged 3 cents per click for over a month now.

Like 2 years ago I made more money per day with Adsense from 10 clicks than I do with like 500 now.

 

3 cents / click is extremely low .. May be your site smartpriced or something . I average like 23 cent/clcik

 

For that amount of impressions I get far less clicks and consequently fewer $$$. So you should consider yourself lucky even if you are being smartpriced. For a file uploading website, you aren't expected to deliver highly targeted traffic and probably your visitors don't convert into sales.

What do you expect on a page with almost zero quality content????
You're hardly going to attract high paying advertisers to that page.
Learn how to build a quality landing page with content relevant to the class of advertiser you want to attract and you might stand a chance.

 

Perhaps you don't understand the value of the site in terms of functionality and traffic. Take google for example. Not a lot of content on their homepage, would you say?

 

Have you tried to change the positioning of your ads?

 

Sorry, but perhaps it's you who doesn't understand.

The content and quality of the landing page determines the type of ads that Google is going to display on it. The amount of traffic coming to the page has nothing to do with the PPC value of the ads. It's about the market value of the niche and how much the advertisers in that niche are prepared to pay for clicks on their Google ads.

If you were to set up a web page all about training garden worms and managed to get 10,000 visitors per day to that page, how many Google advertisers do you think are paying high dollar click rates in the garden worm training marketplace?

I've been in the AdSense program since it began and I make a 5-figure monthly AdSense income from a single site, so I think I have a fair understanding of how it works.
(And no, I'm not going to disclose the niche that I target )

Sorry but please dont acuse my traffic of being useless, i have quality traffic mostly organic and from search engines, most my traffic is from united states and united kingdom,

My visitors clicks show high conversions too.

 

Whats your niche?

 

on average I get .34 cents a click. All my sites are unquie and quailty content. Unique content is king. Build the site for the user and not ads and your income will shoot up. Your CTR is good so just focus on quality content and your there.

 

An upload site is not the type of site that convert well, IMO you have been smartpriced, you should try an alternative like adbrite
