I am using wordpress and a all in one SEO pack plugin. The keywords come within the pack but are the post tags linked with the keywords. For example, do I have to insert key words and post them and then post tags seperately or do I just have to post the one. How should you post tags, for example if i use a keyword of baby bouncer do you have to space the words out or seperate with a comma, so is it baby, bouncer or baby bouncer. If you have further information on this, pleas elet me know such as how mnay keywords should you normally enter. Thanks
I don't know whether that plugin automatically creates tags or not. The simple test would be to create a post, Save Draft, and then look at the refreshed page to see if tags were added automatically. In WP, the format for tags is to put a comma in between tags. For example: baby, child, adult, senior That would create 4 tags, one for "baby", one for "child", one for "adult", and one for "senior". When dealing with tags that include more than one word, such as the example you gave, you would do it like this. For example: baby, child, baby bouncer, adult, senior Your tag is "baby bouncer" so you use commas to separate it from other tags. Spaces after the comma are ignored but spaces between words with no other separator are included. If I wanted a tag that was for "cheap baby bouncer free shipping", I would put it in like this. For example: baby, child, cheap baby bouncer free shipping, adult, senior As for the number of keywords as tags you should enter, think about the function of tags. They are meant to link posts together, to show a special relation that isn't represented in another way in your site's organizational structure. When you create a tag, you want to have it be something important enough that a human would want to use it to find other posts with the same tag. If you are only writing one post about "baby bouncer" and do not plan on writing any others about that topic, there is no practical use for the tag. Don't try to create a specific number of tags, try to create useful tags and let the number be whatever it ends up being. Edit: If you were talking about meta keywords, then yes, that plugin will add you keywords to the page code when you tell it which ones you want. You would enter them as explained above, using commas to separate. You should be able to list them with the spaces and the plugin will make any formatting changes. You can just double-check it to make sure after you publish a post.
