7, 3, 1 cents clicks

    Is this normal for Adsense?
What is the normal range of an average click.

It is said that you should use several contexuals, not one, but if using Adsense means losing money, then that is not smart either.

    Thank you for your help.

It depends on what is your page's niche. ;)

So you think if Adsense is paying low for my niche, I should not use Adsense at all? Just use YPN,etc?

It wouldn't matter what program you use, the clicks would still be worth about the same. When he said your "niche" must have low-paying keywords, that's true for every program. You just happened to have made a site on something that doesn't pay very well. This doesn't mean you should give up. If you build up your traffic, and diversify into other avenues of generating revenue (CPM banners, for instance), you can still make a pretty good living even if you're getting very low click rates.

Not 100% true: With YPN there are things you can do which Adsense does not allow you to do.
Also YPN is paying MUCH more than Adsense per click.
(Buy my e book for the groundbreaking details. Just kidding!!)

With Adsense you are stuck with crap if that is the clicks you are getting.

This is my question: Should I dump Adsense since they are paying crap or should I ride it out and see what happens in the long run with them.

I have some sites on YPN and some on Adsense and Chitikita, and Fast(Value)click. (see my sig!!!)

Chitika and Valueclick are great! :D
    YPN is the bomb!!:D :D

Adsense low clicks are making me feel like moving all Adsense code off.

Mesothelioma, Mortgages, and Lawyers. There's more out there, you just have to find them.

Yeah. It's pretty normal to see 1,3,7 cents clicks. I see them all the time and frown on them. But its ok. Its life.. its adsense.

So if you're already ready to have Yahoo's baby, why did you bother asking for our advice in the first place? Seems kind of a waste of everyone's time.

I wanted to know what other people are doing with Adsense who are also using YPN.

It seems to me that one option is to put Adsense on low traffic YPN pages, not the high traffic ones.

    Here's my 2 cents!
YPN: Only good for sites with US visitors
Do not target high paying keywords! It's worthless! Too much competition! Try finding a niche which pays $1 or so instead with not a lot of competition!

I'm happy to report it seems I'm getting some higher clicks from Adsense today by normal means. I didn't do anything to try to force it.

Seems like Adsense pays more on some days like YPN.

Well I am sorry if anybody is upset over my comment as this was not my intention.

It seems YPN is better for some sites but Adsense can still get some money.
