some of the biggest bigots we have on this board are those who scream it them most - they seem to call anyone who is a Christian a bigot, so in there mind the definition of bigot is Christian, so they are a bit confused.

Altough I MUST admit that's just my perception. It's just my opinion about you: you don't hate bigotry when someone showing bigotry related to Muslims but I also think you would show you hate bigotry when someone would show his bigorty related to Christian or US or americans and so on.
Than again, what I see as bigotry (related to Muslims) probaly you don't see it that way.

Islam and Muslims are NOT a race.

 

I see muslims as people with a religious belief. They don't believe the same things I do - so what. They are welcome to do that.
I have a problem when people want to kill me or my family. I have a problem when that is what they are taught. I even have issue with those things being in their religious book. Now if you aren't a muslim, you should have an issue with the fact that some muslims who follow their book want to kill you too, unless you first convert.

Why is it some have issue with people who recognize fact and use reasoning?

 

How is it bigotry when you point out how the Quaran encourages the abuse of women? What is your solution? Be PC about it, ignore it and say ¨that is just the way they are and they should be able to do whatever they want¨?
Nobody should be able to violate anyone´s human rights. What makes you think that it´s ok for men to abuse women? When you participate in shutting down communication about it, then you yourself are a part of the problem. But hey, it doesn´t affect you personally, so who cares, right? Not sure what you want me to comment on exactly on the other thread. Killing because of a different race or religion is wrong, if that is what you were asking. Next someone like gworld will try to say that Iraq is a religious war on the part of the USA. When the only religious war is the one between the same religion.
