I just checked the cj banner's 7 day epc you are using, and it's only $5.84 per 100 clicks. With the payout this company gives it means it averages 1 sale per 231 clicks (which is not very good).

I also checked the overall epc for the company & it's only $1.18 (US version)
The Europe version is $41 !

Anyway -- I never had much luck with this program.

You might want to try to add some digital web camera products either listings from ebay auctions or buy.com -- using some ad copy like ... "create your own youtube videos with these great cameras"... or something like that.

    :)

I typically get 1 sales for every 100 clicks...but I get LOTS of click. It' strictly a numbers game to me. My EPC is actually quite a bit higher.

Integrate the ad with your content, so if you have a site/blog about fishing, say here's a cool new product. It does this that and the other. Here's a link to it. (there's a lot more subtlety to it, but that's the jist of it)

Or just slap a big ol banner on your page. Try both ways.

Clicks not always as indicator of sales convertions, If your site content have related topic with the ads, the oppurtunity get sales is bigger than no related content.

This is CJ guys, not adsense.

No one seams to understand what a "Targeted Visitor" is. Google you can make cash from any visitor on the web. CJ you need people who are looking to purchase. The keywords you target are very different.

If i am promoting blue widgets. Why do i need people who searched for "how blue widgets work" That traffic is almost useless to me as an affiliate.

Would you like 1000 visitors looking for information on a topic or 50 qualified visitors looking to buy what you are offering. Please note that related ads are not targeted ads.... if they are at a video site, why would they click an ad to another. Why not a free video player, or a video editer... or dvd's? And these will only be targeted if your presell them on why they should get the product.(even if you dont believe it)

Also CJ is all about the presell. I am sure if you checked my sig you will notice what sites i am using CJ on and know that they are not set up the same as the others. I promote a set of products and also give good related useful articles to presell.

CJ is much easier to earn with than many people think... I gave up on adsense at the 300$ a month mark. Affiliate marketing is sooooo much less work. But just throwing some banners on a website that isn't targeting anything is pointless.

I prefer lead programs than sale programs. Thereby getting some easy conversions.
