I pay a guy to do seo on this site

We have great backlinks, thousands of low/high quality

but im concerned i could be getting penalized for the spammy stuff the seo guy put on the bottom of the page

I cant break the top 5 for my keyword "bodyboarding" on google and various other single word keywords.. Could google be penalizing this>?

I was actually at 2 for alil while, and three last week but for ther most part at 5

How many times should I be able to say bodyboarding on a page ??

I think he says the word bodyboarding, bodyboard, and bodyboards way too many times??
Can i be penalized for this? ane if i were penalized would i still be in the top 10 ?
I am 5 now, was 3 last week for a few days
Could the penalty just be holding me back from becoming #1??

 

Being penalized is one thing .. being very very annoying is another.
I think it is ridiculous for someone to put that many keywords on a page. Just by looking at your page title makes me dizzy.

IMHO, your site has enough quality but the way he try to get top ranking cannot be applauded.

I have seen sites doing this kind of thing but I think your SEO guy must either be drunk or crazy. IMHO the number of keywords down there is totally absurd.

For the term bodyboarding there's only around 686,000 rival pages listed at Google. I do not think you have to go to such spammy technique to get higher rank.

Create content on that first page. Add products that has the word bodyboarding on it etc

Would your site be penalised? I think the day will come ..

BTW, I think the fonts are just too small

That font and text is pretty annoying. I'd suggest changing it so that it fits better into the website. My opinion is that keyword content should be part of the website, not some BS speel at the bottom of the page. Those keywords would get you better results if they were higher up on the page.

 

So do you think the on page factors are holding the site back from being #1 on Google?
