Yes, this is a record roll out and it's still being tweaked. Barely awake this morning all D.C's, for my keywords have shifted again. No major loss but some previously unindexed sites have shifted me down a couple of spots and the promised J3 end date, well, if I'm not mistaken was today. I still see minor flux in the Shopping sector.
I enter my search phase in and my site is listed at #3, hit refresh again and now it is gone, sooooo kewl!!!! Luv the flux...
The site of mine I've been watching with all this suddenly lost it's cached state today(no google cache shows when I type in the address, versus it does for all my other sites and did for this one yesterday)... Replacing it in the top 10 are some useless sites, including one that has "<!DOCTYPE ...." crap as the title... Sub pages of same site still appear to be cached... -- Derek
I'm seeing flux as well. The one site I do for free, (a non-profit org) was stable at #9 (was #2 pre-jagger) has been bouncing today between #9 and #24 or so. Hopefully, when this is all over I get to keep my #9 spot. Of course #1 would be ok too
I am seeing some minor flux as well but for my main keyword approx 1/2 of the data centers are showing the same results.
Well, change in the SERPS will never end. Jagger3 must come to an end eventually. It's been hovering for over a week on 20-25 datacenters, rolling back and forth like a drunken sailor. These ridiculously incompetent changes will only come to an end when Google feels some pressure from competitors and investors. If webmasters could manage to raise enough noise to get the investors nervous about Google's technical competency -- then we might see some change in Google's rather lackadaisacal attitude towards competence.
Thanks! I'm beginning to get a little bit excited here. The new results have hit my data center. They haven't yet hit the Google API data center.
I am checking some of my words, just on the data centers google sends me too and I'm pretty happy with what I see, on a quick check.
not here yet, but I see that mcdar tool (http://www.mcdar.net/q-check/datatool.asp) is showing many more DC's with the J3 results.
Spoke too soon, J3 show up on the first query and on the second query the old results were return. I guessed that google switch DCs on me. If all of the seo addicts would stop hitting the search button and mcdar's DC tool then I might stay on one DC
Geeez, I know there is some truth behind this! STOP IT! Boy these D.C's are still jumping. So glad McDar is picking this thread, I am seeing J2 right now. In the, "Shopping catagory" with an emphasis on older sites, pages/sub-pages + for some reason U.K results showing strong, this could be a Per click, stay on page, thingymajjigy though. PLEASE, PLEASE, end it soon. I hope that Google is not integrating Analytics yet...but you know they will, remember, the only one's that should fear are Black Hat. I wish the best for all D.P members that are watching this like a hawk.
Anybody seeing changines on these DCs: 64.233.179.99 64.233.179.104 64.233.179.107 I am seeing some good rankings for me on these 3 I hope this will propagate to others
