I got 650 impressions with the new blog today and didn't had any clicks. can you check what is wrong. the site url is in my signature
Ads on sidebars don't give high CTR. Try placing 336x280 ads on the main column, before the posts and change the ad background, links and text to much your site. Also don't forget that Adsense counts your own views too. So, if you are updating or reloading your blog all the time, then some of the Adsense views are yours. In any case don't be disappointed. It needs time to start seeing good earnings.
I guess that's because the ads aren't related to your post topic as there's not much content,other than videos.
You have the ads labeled as Google AdSense, so that lets people know they are ads right from the start. I would take away that label. You may find that helps.
I think your problem is nothing. Look at my result; what is happening with me. The following is my some details of May month where I'd not get any clicks for those days. Page impression was 1,023 / 1,254 / 2,547 /1,208. But the click was 0
totally agree. and also don't use border on adsense ads coz doing this the text "Ads by Google" will b caught by surfer's eyes and they (surfers) will assume that these are ads. so you'll get less clicks.
I wouldn't be too worried since it's your first day.I agree with everyone else on taking off the google adsense sign above the ads.People will know it's an ad.I don't know if it's against the TOS.I would think google might think you are trying to encourage people to click if you got several clicks with that sign above the ads.
