Why.....because it's habbit forming....I am an Internet business selling....blonde wacko junky.
If I didn't post If get bored I guess..so why stop.

Also the richest person I know has over 55 Million dollars, and guess what, he'll still bend over to pick a quarter off the ground.
It doesn't really matter how much money you have......it's really about playing the get richer game all your lifetime.....that's that life of making money you take every advantage you can....big or small.
    Thanks Heather48DD

Well you need a lesson in business and time management.

If you earn $10,000 a day then don't go into a forum, spam someone else's thread just to try and earn a few extra bucks.

Cross-Promotion is another one I'd like to add to this list.

I've been building up my list by sending proposals for a cross-promotion to people that have a list related to mine, and at least 50% of my size. While I do have 2 lists of different sizes, it's easier for me to find the right deals.

One list is 200,000+ and is my main marketing force. I've build it up from 150,000 to where it is now thru cross-promotions. Another list is 13,000 and is completely build up from these ventures.

A cross-promotion is where I send my list a solo-ad and the other party involved does the same. My solo-ad promotes a free report for which they aren't required to sign up to my list. This helps build goodwill. My lead capture page is currently converting around 76%

    good posts, thanks. But:

"Write something great about your niche and email other bloggers to let them know"

So your advice is to be a spammer?

    Hey Maxiorel,

it depends on the country you live in. Unsolicited email, just like snailmail is completely legal in the Netherlands. Though in many other countries it's seen as spam.

No - you are emailing relevant sites about a decent and relevant post on your site - it is not spamming it is how the industry works - its called a "news tip".

Blogs (and other news type sites) frequently put up a contact form to get news tips - in fact many sites actually ask people to send them tips.

If you run a blog of a decent size and put up a contact form (or email address) then you will find lots of PR companies, individuals and bloggers posting you news to write about on your site on a daily basis.

I get this all the time and it helps me (or my writers) find new stuff to write about. I am like thoasands of other bloggers out there just looking for something to write about - email them with something interesting on your site and they might just write about it an link to you.

I've got listed on technorati top 100 sites frequently by emailing them a news tip. That's authoraty links and a lot of traffic I would have missed out on if I hadn't done that.

Just make sure what you email to other bloggers is newsworthy and not something they have posted about already.

Let us know how you get on :)

Though most of the points listed here are already known to many of the old webmasters, the collection of tips presented would definitely help the newbies in the web business. Whether the thread will be stickied? It's any body's guess ;)
