I am hoping to completely redesign aim3media.com, which is a site focused on the power of music. The website you submit (uncoded) should be sleek in design with rich colors. The "tentacles of music," coming out of the logo should be shaded in some way to give a visually-pleasing effect. They can be a different color (perhaps green) than the A and the M, but I want them to have the bubble shaded effect as the A and M have. The heart to which the tentacles lead should also be a rich red, with a glow emanating from its center. The elements of the final design should mesh well together. Amidst the wavy lines leading from the logo into the heart should be some notes of music. See below for a rough example. Now, here is a really rough sketch of what I want. However, I don't want so many of these tentacles in your design as there are in this sketch. and here is the logo: This website will have a blog format, so this design will be used for all the pages. Use your creativity on this one - the nature of the design calls for it. Please don't PM me your designs, share with the whole board. Look at this website before you design to get a feel for what I am looking for: http://www.ndesign-studio.com/ The contest will last 72 hours, or may be extended until a winner is chosen. Let me know if you have any questions.
Very small prize for such a complex design though. I wouldn't expect anything near the quality of your example!
I don't expect anything near the complexity of the example I gave. I just want a simple design which includes the logo and two new elements: the wavy lines leading to the heart. There surely are programs that allow you to create lines, add shading to them, and make them wave. Let me know if this clarifies it. Perhaps I just described the design in too much of a complicated way. -radec
I made a crude design on my computer of what I want. I don't think it should be too difficult. The N.Design studio is there to show the general feel to the site. I've also attached a couple of pictures of examples of curvy lines. There doesn't need to be a lot of them, perhaps five lines leading to the heart. The color contrast should look similar to the logo font. Let me know your thoughts please, thanks, -radec
@saxDesigns: I think you are complicating jebradec's design. I hold tons of design contests on here and most of the designers on DP could easily and elegantly create this design.
I have closed this thread and started a new one for the creation of this site. You can find the new thread here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1131266
