just try to hit micro niche which give you more targeted visitor and earn more money from its high cpc good luck
If you think have enought traffic and still dissapointed from Adsense take a look to Joel Comn e-book.
Focus on quality content, well researched for your niche keywords. Promote your blogs for more visitors and finally do some research on ad layout and look.
Choose a niche that isn't overflowing, it might even be boring to you. It doesn't need to be popular, just have a void that can be filled. By that ("void") I mean that the competition on the first page isn't overly strong. It also needs enough traffic to make it worth your time. Google Keyword Tool will help you with this - you want a high competition keyword that pays at least $1 and gets at least 2000 searches for your target country. You won't get all of these 2000 searches, but a good portion and it can convert to a nice amount of cash each month. You can build up from there to tougher keywords. Once you have that niche, you need to make appropriate content - material that the people searching for these terms are interested in. This could be text, video, images, music, or all/a combination. Be relevant in your promotion on social media; by that, I mean make your presence on social media sites that have some activity for the topic you are posting, but are also relevant. If you site/topic isn't very visual, then why have a presence on Pinterest when you could be better focusing on Twitter? (As an example.) Good luck!
