    I also earned very little with Amazon , I have 5.000 unique visits per month and sold a few books. If you want to make money with Amazon you should do what Asen K. have done and offer lots of other products not books.

    Amazon was the first affiliate I joined they responded and accepted my application in 2 days, still waiting to hear back from Google. I'm new to all this affiliate stuff and just made my first website at salientgate.com , hopefully I will have some success.

    You gotta sell stuff that people don't buy in stores.... people order gifts for people (jewerly) people pre-order album releases from their fav. artists/band. People will buy something old like a super nintendo, which may be hard to find...
    Money can be made on Amazon.. but everybody is trying to sell the same stuff...
