does anyone say who it was? it was steve pavlina imo and yeah i guess he does make that much money. his blog is crazy popular and he writes really awesome stuff.
Where are you located? U.K.? Cali U.S.A.? Because with a 5K/mo income you can live nicely here in Florida.
very possible... but that's nothing. I know of a blog that makes $70,000/month - not all from adsense though. I just hit the $50/day average and now my goal is $75/day average... made $70 yesterday
I am not sure you could lead a royal life. In fact, property prices in cities like Bombay, Bangalore are pretty comparable to those of London, NY.
6000 a month is an excellent income in any country. If all you gotta do is make 1-2 posts a day, I'd take that over working a full-time job and earning 15k monthly any time.
It was mentioned that some advertisers are advertising directly on his blog and therefore he has diversified in the sense of income streams. The $6k per month is definately worth concentrating full time on making money online because there are a lot less distractions (like 8 hrs a day working for a company can really be put to 8 hrs a day working to grow your online empire). It will also be a chance to introduce any other venture to a captive audience and can lead to multiple income streams if marketing in the right way. Basically, $6k a month is well worth considering dedicating yourself to growing online in my opinion - it is enough to get hosting, hire freelancers, pay for additional marketing and bring your ideas into working solutions quicker than having to do everything yourself. Good luck to him.
you forgot to add the commute each way to get to your job... 40 minute commute each way with road construction... so make that more like 10 hours a day taken away...
LOL!!!!!!! Are you serious? Except you would rarely make even close to that much working for a corporation.
I'm sure its true. there are lots of blogs that have been written about that pull in those sorts of numbers in terms of daily traffic and dollars. A lot of the celebrity blogs get mentioned a lot, like Perez Hilton.com
