I'm a total noob when it comes to this stuff but is it normal to have like 600 clickthroughs on EPN and not see any earnings at all? Last month I had a lower total number of clickthroughs and earned about $150...

Thx for any help in advance.

(hopefully this is the right place for this thread)

Yeah, thats definately not unheard of... depends on the quality of your traffic.

If a visitor does not buy a product, it doesn't give you earnings. You may have 10,000 clicks, but if there was no purchase made, there is no commission for you.

If thats so, then yea, it sucks! I have about 340 clicks and havent made a cent with this shit, and Ive got over 400000 impressions, I think their system isnt working lmao.

    Probably.

If this is 600 clicks a month, there's no real statistical significance there. I'm pushing 6000 a day now and I assure you, even if EPN is NOT tracking correctly, I am very happy.

Yeah, sadly it's only 600 clicks for the whole month! hehe I just started out on EPN mid last month and haven't really worked on this yet... I just thought it was strange that I had like $180 in commission in my first two weeks on EPN on only 250 clicks and then $0 commission on 600 clicks this month... Props on the 6000/day! Awesome man! I will work toward that! Any chance you want to help a noob like me getting started?

Well, I started out with CJ last July knowing absolutely nothing beyond how to insert the code for banners. I've sent... 32k hits and not scored a single sale! Granted that's because I had no clue how to go about things and did not select a specific enough niche, etc.. Just trying to give you an idea of how bad it CAN be :)

Only quality clicks matter. Make sure your traffic is the right type of targetted traffic and if you use adwords, don;t pay too much unless the keyword is very high conversion. At the end of the day with whatever marketing you do... it s all about the conversions. Good luck!

As Cianuro said... 600 total is not much to go on. This is not an atypical number of clicks to get without seeing any conversions.

But..... IMO it's enough to say that it's time to reconsider what you are doing and try to tinker around a bit with how you are presenting what you are promoting, or maybe you should look toward a different product line that would glean easier conversions? In most cases, it might be a good idea to try promoting a different vendor who carries the same product line, but in the case of ebay... you probably need to either polish up your presentation, or try to qualify your traffic so that you are getting ready buyers rather than window shoppers, or try promoting a different line or category of products.

the source matters so much. I have had 700 clicks from paid ask.com the last week and got 1 conversion and 500 from a google ad group and had 20 conversions o it all depends on the quality of the click. Good luck.

i get about 400 clicks a day from organic seaches from google, yahoo and msn and I get about 15-30 sales a day

i think you need to check where your clicks are coming from. if you have garbage clicks in you will get garbage out :)

    good luck

Yeah they're looking like garbage clicks now that I've looked into it a bit.
