Thanks, You have a good weekend to I'll keep an eye out, just in case you get bored this weekend & think of an update.
OK, scorpionagency, I'll take you up on that. For the 2nd version down from the top, could you use the following blue color for the darker blue color? Blue R:0 G:107 B:198 Also, would the figure appear better if it was a black outline rather than a white outline for this version since the background colors are light? Thanks again for your hard work!
Revision - Using RGB(0, 107, 198) for Back Ground color & Rendered with both a white rider & black rider for comparison. Any Additional feedback appreciated
Looking good, scorpionagency. I think I prefer the white figure more than the black, but it is faint when printed out. Is there any way to make the outline of Paul Revere thicker or will that detract from the drawing? Also what would the black & white version of the logo look like? Thanks!
Ok, revised with thicker outline on the rider, I did it in a Grey scale, & a Black -n- white version - due to the large amount of colors, they tend to blend with only a 2 color option such as black & white when rendering. A solution for this is to design a separate black -n- white version (If needed) Additional Feedback Appreciated
Heres one done in all black & white This is what the color version would have to look like to produce the above B&W (Keeping the same colors in mind) This is a Print Version of your Logo designed for Fax transmissions & any other b&w photo copy, the other submissions are for web 2.0 usage & high res color printers
Had to delete the last entry, sorry, after testing, the B&W version was faulty After further testing, the below color version renders the best in Black -n- white
If selected I can provide both the web 2.0 & print versions in .Wmf (Windows MetaFile) A standard scalable Layered Vector Format for any print & resizing needs. As well as .Png, .Gif, .Jpg, & .Dpa master graphics file (A serif software format).. The .Jpg would also be supplied in a 1050x992 pix at 560 DPI for other print type uses (E.G. required for transposing an image onto a credit card)
Revision: Moved the MMB over a little bit, added a Minuteman to fill up some of the white space. Let me know.
Had time for two last minute entries: First one, the shield size is more proportional to the actual state seal, as well as the location and size of the star. Second one, everything the same, without the shield/star. Let me know
Not sure, My guess is that its just due to the Christmas Holiday & we won't know for another few days.
Hmmmm, ok well GFMIII, I'm leaving for the holidays myself for one week, I will be back on the 3rd of January. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
Sorry for the delay in announcing the winner. I left all my Christmas shopping to do until Christmas Eve, so I did not have a chance to post a message until this morning. In any event, I want to thank everyone that submitted an entry for my contest as there were a lot of GREAT design proposals. I sincerely appreciate the effort put forth by everyone. It was a tough decision as to the winner, but I have chosen scorpionagency. I was impressed not only with scorpionagency's overall logo, but how scorpionageny incorporated the values I was interested in communicating to potential clients into the design. Congratulations scorpionagency! Thank you again for everyone's hard work and willingness to showcase their entries in my contest. Have a Happy New Year!
Wow, Thanks..... & I also want to thank everyone else for their entries, it made for a good competition. Great work everyone! I'll start putting all the formates together & get it all zipped up, then I'll PM you with my preferred PayPal account. Thanks again, will PM you within the next 1-2 hrs.
