60% Traffic lost please help

Hi there,

I have lost my 60% organic traffic from Google and Yahoo. I haven't employed any spammy methods to get organic traffic except links exchange and directory submissions. I don't know exactly if Google likes these methods for getting incoming links or not.

Can anyone please help how to recover my site's position back in the Google and Yahoo with the same keywords.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Check the sites you did link exchanges with. If they are not listed in google the site must be doing something wrong. You can hurt your site by linking to sites that use link farms. I would take off the link of any site not listed in google if they where before.

 

Google just devalued link exchanges, so you might have lost traffic for that reason.

If links exchanges has been devalued then how to get the links to get the pages from the supplemental index and in the top ranking positions.

I wouldn't even focus on reciprocal links I have never done any reciprocal links and I am in the top ten for my major keywords in almost all of Google's countries. Read some of the methods I used here

 

if all what you did is a white hat links building then you will recover within a few days but try not to out ink to link farm sites, While what ever sites is linking to you is even good or will not affect your ranking at all.

What are the other good methods of links building except links exchange.

1. Links from the social bookmarking sites are not always from the high PR pages.

2. Most of the directories are spammy. So, directory submissions is also risky.

3. Reciprocal links exchange is devalued by Google.

4. Paid Links exchange is also attacked.

5. Natural links building is very long process provided if a site's quality is good.

Then what else is left in the links building methods that are liked by the search engines.

Please share your links building methods that really help in the SEO and are liked by the Search engines.

google has become very sharp for the link market.

you must remove your link exchange to get your traffic back

 

it happened to me too, but it eventually came back. You will probably just have to wait it out.

 

At one point, I lost many of my top google rankings but i worked on my site to remove any questionable TOS violations and continued to build more links and add content and about a week or 2 later, I was right back to where I was.
