My God - the things a guy has to do to get a girlfriend.

I really hope that it is not essential to do all these things. Just memorising all the 60 items will take some effort. I would prefer to just treat my girlfriend like an equal and like an adult and be polite at all times.

I live in India and it is a more traditional society than in the West. Over here men generally lord it over their women, arranged marriages are common and dating exists only in a small section of society (although it is growing due to western influences).

I also think that there are plenty of interests that a young man can have other than girls. Girls consume a lot of your time and energy and if you make them the center of your life then you may not have time to pursue your other hobbies. You can interest yourself in martial arts, good literature, adventure sports, meditation, yoga and lots else any of these activities deserve at least a part of your attention (if they form your hobby).

In sum, there is so much more to life than money and sex. Spend time with your hobby, pursue your passion and it will- over time - do you so much more good than spending all your time with your girlfriend.

I am sure to ruffle a few feathers with my post - I think.
