60 seconds per private message...

    Hi

I wasn't sure where to post this message - I couldn't find a link to a help section or contact info for Digital Point. Basically I'm probably being paranoid, but I just logged in to send a private message and it said I can't send more than one private message per 60 seconds, so I have to wait. But it was about half an hour since I last sent a message! Has this happened to anyone else? Just a little paranoid that someone could somehow have been sending messages from my account?!

Weird... maybe it's 5 messages per 60 seconds or something? It definitely said I had to wait "31 seconds" before I could send another message, even though the last message I had sent was about 30 minutes before!

It could be A) your cookies, I would clear them and log in again

or B) your account may be hacked, check your sent messages folder

if B change your password immediately

I checked my sent items - there were no strange messages. But if someone did hack my account and send messages, they would probably delete the messages anyway to cover their tracks.... I'm so paranoid!

Change your password as a precaution, and like i said try clearing your cookies and logging back in, sometimes vb can be a bit touchy.

There was too many PM spam activity lately, who knows if sending time is being adjusted or Crazy_Rob could be trying to adjust it since who has full access to the forum settings is Shawn, who is not around.
