$60 paypal contest to design a can for one drink (24 hour contest)

Hi guys,

I need to design a can for a hangover defense drink called "Joo Joo".

The person who designed the logo for this drink (here on DP) was already paid $50.

Here are the details for the can design:

The client wants to keep the design simple, but add a little something unique and captivating on the can design to bring the can to life that ties into the all natural hangover defense idea that compliments the logo!

One idea I thought off was to screen behind the texture of a leaf. Making it very minimal but there. Not sure if that would work though. Also we could do something with some gradients with white and the green of the logo. Do you have any ideas you could explain to me?

Here is the required text for the bottle. It could change some though. Keep this text in mind when designing it. There will also be a bar code as well.

here's 4 versions of the same can. my personal favorites are the first and the fourth. depends what kind of feel the client is going for though. feedback?

 

@amy-lynn: Make the tag line visible on image # 1. I like the background you got going. Is it suppose to represent a leaf and the texture? Also try a version with it lightened up a bit close to the mint color as on this image: http://www.flickr.com/photos/43522653@N08/5952631461/

I also like #3 just make the tag line stand out more too!

@zasul: I like the glow of the logo in your last image! Please make the logo blend in with the background (not be in a box) and get rid of the bubbles for now!

@JSDesign: I like your design too and will let you know if I need you to change anything soon, for now leave it as it is.

@zasul: Please leave everything the same as on this image: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/36/unl3ed2.jpg/ , just get rid of the bubbles (circles) and remove the square where the logo is in (logo should blend in with the can design). Also leave the glow of the logo, I really like this idea!!

right now, i am working on revising the first one to make it closer to the mint color.
to answer your question, i found a texture and messed around with it to make it look like a leaf. it originally didn't really resemble one until i blew it up and changed the colors
