Contest $60 Mobile App Screen Design (72hrs)

    Aloha Everyone!

Now that the logo is finished for Evalu8 (below), we are moving on to its UI creation.

    upload_2014-7-16_21-51-8.png

This contest will be for 3 screens as displayed below. The winner will get $30 up front for winning the contest. Then the winner will be given the next $30 upon completion of the rest of the screens (9 more) for a total of 12 screens. I have chosen the 3 most complex screens of the app for development first, while the other screens are very similar to these:

I am looking for an attractive way to display this information, something that’s simple and yet professional, just like the logo. The same colors will be used for this contest as the mobile app logo as displayed below:

    upload_2014-7-16_21-53-15.png

This may help stir up some imagination:

All questions and submissions must be submitted through the thread. I will not take any PM-ed designs or questions. This way I don't have to repeat myself and thegeneralcontest can benefit from your talent and insight.

*Also, check out the previous contest for ideas and feedback to other designers. Thanks and good luck!

imhawk, thank you for starting us off! I like the simplicity and direct. Could you put the back button on the middle screen to the left of Balance sheet Items? Could you also look at changing the background color to a blue with white text? I would like to see the contrast. Thanks

Iamhawk - I think we can do away with the beige background and stick with the blue one. Could also deepen the blue to the backgrounds, that would be great! Thanks.

Biscuitdzn - thank you for submitting! I like the orange buttons the best! I would take out the aheet paper look and keep this background white. Also, if this middle screen could be formatted like a balance sheet that would great. Thanks.

Todd Duquette, thanks for your submission! I like the background trendline on the initial screen, I think keeping the lowercase letters would be better. If you could also change the middle screen to be formatted like a balance sheet on a white screen that would be great. Thanks!

Todd - I like the second set better than the first. Could you make the middle screen just have black text, and maybe choose a more professional font. Also, please make the help buttons to cover the entire bottom of the screen. Thanks

Iamhawk - I also like your second set of designs better than the first. If you could make the help buttons bigger on the bottom, along with a scroll down feature or the third screen that would be great. Thanks.

Monkz - you have my favorite middle screen and I really like the orange all around. I will need to see the third screen to consider you for winning the contest, but nice job. Please make the help buttons on tbe bottom fill the entire bottom of the screen in a contrasting color from the white. Thanks.
