$60 Logo Redesign Contest - Winner Chosen 8 July 15:00 GMT

Hi,

I'd like to have my current logo freshened. I don't want to say re-designed because I'm generally happy with it but I'd like it more fully refined and professional looking.

I'd like the typography tightened up and I'd like versions for print, web and for printing on promotional items.

We're a search marketing company with a focus on full-service for any budget. Our audience are not web savvy but I'd like a look that will impress all levels of understanding including web pros.

Feel free to recommend something totally different but understand I'm pretty happy with what we've got.

This logo will be the basis for a future identity package, web site and blog theme redesign.

Payment is by PayPal only with $45 to chosen logo, $15 to second place.

Please assure fonts don't require licensing and will render on PC or MAC. Product of both 1st and 2nd place contestants will become our property with full release.

Thanks guys for your contributions but neither of them seems to be tightening the use of fonts. If anything you're making them more complicated.

Like the perfect zen garden I'm hoping to make it as simple as it can be without being reductive.

Interestingly you each chose more stylized fonts rather than simplifying those there.

Just to be clear, I'm not sure what more is needed just that it is not quite there... it's close, but not quite there, so the divergence in type style and logo blocking (placing the name and URL beneath) is actually taking us further from the goal.

Please keep trying, I wish I had better guidance.

Hi All,

First, thank you all for the efforts thus far!

Next, due to popular demand (and my own busy-ness) I'm going to extend until thursday at the same time. Also, there was a request for an older file format by PM.

Finally, the contenders thus far are VictoriaAnn, xaralee, mitcharr and Nora with mitcharr ahead by a nose.

In every case, we like the simplicity of the fonts. In 3 of the 4 we'd like to see a version without the stroke around the globe (all but Nora).

@mitcharr, can you please try the text on the left of the globe? Also please try to make the URL stand out a little bit more and please try one without the shadow.

One of the things I like about the original is the way the text locks in making it a solid composition. I'm not saying the text has to intersect the globe but it makes it feel more connected to me.

@xaralee, yours is pretty great but the text is a little overpowering -- the globe is a little washed out by comparison.

If possible, please try to also show a version in the context of our letterhead and how your logo would interact with the arc.

** I'm interested that no one has shown alternative designs. I know I said I was looking for refinement but I did expect someone to say "screw your design, look what I can do".
