Contest $60 Logo for precious metal Silver Collector website - 4 days

Hello!

I need a new logo/banner/favicon for my new silver collectors website. The site focuses on collecting silver, how to start, what to collect and what to do with your collection. The website encourages people to buy solid silver collectibles versus items made from plastic or other synthetic materials.

I don't have anything specific in mind, please take a look at my site to get any ideas.

Please keep in mind, our site is not just about silver coins and bars. We focus on all silver like statues, cutlery, antiques, but we will start with and be primarily focused on pop culture related collectible silver.

I like the CS for my logo, however for some reason I keep seeing a cheeseburger, LOL. Maybe I'm hungry, but it's not quite working for me. Also, the S stands out much more than the C, and I would want them to be equally prominent.

I like the header but if the logo, "CS" is included in the header image it should be more than just the letters, though I'm not quite sure what that should be. lol Also, the gradient fill, or whatever you call it, for the header seems isn't quite right, I would prefer a gradual transition of color or just a solid silver color. with black outline maybe?

I'm open to any and all ideas here, please keep the designs coming!!​

pehulz - I appreciate the creativity with the logo but it looks like a globe to me. I also see a cup or chalice, which is great, but my first impression is a globe, which I don't like so much. The font is good but I don't like the gradient/fill.

Blkstrdst - I like the combination of the SC for the logo but I don't like the sparkle effect, it looks too reminiscent of other brands and logos. The rest is just too simple I think.

SG10 - I like the logo but it looks a little unrefined, it needs something, but I'm not sure what. The rest of it is okay.

Athisa - Very cool logo, I like the one with the teal but how about a darker grey instead of the teal? Also, maybe a bit of an outline.

getdomain4u - Much better! It's getting close, I really like the logo, it looks original and unique, but I wouldn't mind seeing any other versions or tweaks that you might have in mind.

Part of the fun of collecting silver is watching the price of silver change, and hopefully grow. Could I see the banner with a stock chart watermark in the background maybe? Something very faint but noticeable. Something to indicate the value, the price does change and it is an investment as much as a fun collectible.

3SS - It kind of reminds me of a pregnant woman giving birth.. LOL I do like the font a lot, and I think the logo is unique, but not quite right.

justineblain99 - The logo is pretty cool, but a little old-school, perhaps something similar but with rounded corners and a more smooth look? I do not like the line under the name and the name itself looks a little blurry to me for some reason. Not very sharp.

iDesignLogo - It looks good but the logo looks very familiar. I don't like that the C is an outline while the S is just a line. Maybe if they were both just a line, that might look better.

-Winston Rodriquez - I like the logo except for the dot in the middle background. And, maybe if the S were a little more rounded at the corners?

Tosario - I love the creative design of the logo being a tag or pendant, attached to the letter C.. That's a good idea and it looks pretty cool, but I'm not diggin the S on it. Also, could I see a couple variations.. black/white maybe and with the tag by itself?
