That's a a lot better, could you make the font a little bolder?

 

I like the logo here, very unique and would make a good favicon

A more bold, striking font would be better, and without the cheesy shine haha

You know guys.... when one design consist of a certain element, positioned in a certain way, its usually considered good designer etiquette to not use the same concept. I wont mention any names, but there are at least a couple very similar designs in this thread.
