60$ logo design contest- ends 25th July 2007

I would like a logo making for a section of my site called Ultimate handyman approved.

You can see the approved section here-

I will pay $60 for the best logo via paypal, which will be from my credit card.

At the moment I am using these two logos on the approved section-





But I would like something that includes the first logo from my site if possible and perhaps combine it with an approved logo that can fit over the top or something? I think round would be better than square, and I am not too bothered about the hammer and saw blade being in the new logo

which includes the ultimatehandyman.co.uk at the bottom of the logo. I have this logo in high resolution EPS File if needed, please PM me with your e-mail address and I will e-mail it to you as soon as I can.

digitalphoenix - that is a good effort, but I would like something that uses the text from the original logo and so it must use the ULTIMATE HANDYMAN and must be in the same colours as the original logo as I would like it to fit in with the existing logo on my site.

DRoP- That is more along the lines of what I am looking for.

There are some great ideas here, I am impressed by these

coldfire7- I like your way of thinking and the way you have used the razor wire for the A is very cool, but it's not quite what I was looking for.


Speno- I like this design! I know that that is not how it will look really as obviously you don't want me pulling a fast one and stealing it ( not that I would )would the approved portion of the logo be clean and crisp in the centre as it is a bit hard to read the url at the minute? I think it would look good if the ultimatehandyman.co.uk which is in black was brought to the front, if possible! The ultimatehandyman.co.uk can be changed to another font/colour etc. if you like

Kia Ora-That is very nice and vibrant, but I would like the logo to look as it does on the rest of my site, so that it matches.

I'm doing a competition in a few weeks to have my homepage completely redesigned and cannot wait for that
