I'm looking for a clean and professional logo for a site titled "Episode Shark" The site will be like an internet browser version of Joost. I'd like some type of a shark image/vector in the logo, but I'm always up for new ideas. So don't be shy The logo should translate well into print, be scalable w/o losing quality, and be completely vector (I'm thinking about creating some t-shirts). The logo will be on both our website header and a t-shirt, so there may be a small variation between the two. The winner will be paid $60 via PayPal. The contest will end on June 25th and the prize is $60 for the first prize. I'm looking to establish a working relationship for logos that I will need done in the near future. Thank you and I look forward to seeing your work.
This is 100% vector. The actual art will be crisp and clean. Let me know if this is the right direction.
Hey, I tried to keep my entry very simple, but with an essence of shark rather than blatantly placing one there. It's an alternative style, and I am able to change things. I have this in 300dpi decent resolution.
Thanks everyone for their entries so far. I'd like to add that I would like to keep the colors down to a minimum as the logo will also be on a shirt. So far, I like onixz100's simple design the best. I really like its simplicity, but at the same time it kind of feels as though it lacks something. But I really like this idea, and the direction its going in. Crowquill: I like what you've done, but I think it may be too complex/detailed for a t-shirt. Also, if you could work on the colors a bit. Kia Ora: I like how the colors were kept to a minimum, but I dont really like the contrast. plut0: I'm not a big fan of the text face and color. Theres a little bit too much going on.
UPDATE: I mistakenly called the site episode shark, when it should be channel shark. Sorry for any confusion.
coolwanz: I really like this concept. I think you're on the right track. However, the colors look a little bit bland. And it still seems to be missing a little something. Maybe do something to the text? Ariestoteles: I like the placement of the logo between the text, but the logo doesn't have enough of a shark-ish look. The fin looks a bit strange and I'm not really a big fan of the colors. hosters: The shark and the jagged swoosh half circle in the logo look really rough on the edges. I don't really like the font face either. Sorry, it's not what I'm looking for. Kia Ora: I saw the updated colors and I think they look a lot better. The bubbles look a little bit out of place in the picture. Also, the whole setup with the thick lines seems to be a little bit too "in your face." Just to note - The site is geared towards a teenage to mid-20s audience.
Ariestoteles: I like the idea. But I'm still not liking the look of the shark. And I'm still not a big fan of the colors. Also, the use of the gradient looks a little bit gaudy. uneek: I like the colors and the shadow of a shark. But I don't really like the way the shark looks, and there seems to be something missing.
