ROFLMAO, dont tell my you held this contest to get some ideas, then once you find one you like, recreate it (sniipers entry) and put it up as your own? Hah..

What is going on?? If the contest is closed, who won? If it is just over, I am extremely pissed off because a lot of time and effort went into a lot of these entries. Please let us know what is going on please.

 

I suppose he is taking time to view the entries and will declare the winner soon...IMO.

 

I spent time doing mine too! I am starting to think that I should have watermarked mine. Not saying that its the best, just feeling like we are all going to get burned.

Okay that is the exact same as Snipers entry. He just put it up on his site and just closed the contest. This is ridiculous, he cant get away with this can he?? How can we take our entries out of this thread?? Im sick to my stomach over this, how can someone be so inconsiderate of people. I mean, this work that we do obviously isnt free, and Im getting so sick of these scammers taking advantage of trusting designers. Its getting out of hand, and something needs to be done.

Man I guess it wont be that bad. So much time effort and brainstorming goes behind each artwork. It feels terrible.

Yeah That has been aready pointed out by Save Th3 Day, but still to leave contest as such it is now is the worst thing that a designer can expect..

 

Scamming jerk... Waste our time, and then dont even provide a reason behind it.. You only say Contest Closed and then steal a design and put it on your site anyways... I think I am done with these so called contests.

I love just looking at what everyone comes up with, its always a challenge around here! So many great designers! It just plain out sucks when something like this happens.. but oh well what can you do I guess. ..

 

I most certainly hope this is handled appropriately! If not, then there is no protection here for the designers and is actually a sad note for the forum itself.

 

The only reason I am not upset, is because I got used to these kind of things. I used to work for a printing company and I had to deal with this every single day. People would either not pay at all or create all sorts of dramas just to get the design for free.

 

Well you shouldn't just accept it now..
