Website title: Insurance Store Financial Protector – Family Gardian
Company Slogan: Insurance for the financial protection of your Family
Requiremets:
The page should be uncoded.
Page color scheme should follow the logo provided below.
Content container on the left, sidebar on the right.
Header
The header should be large, at least 721px tall.
Model after the header for lifeinsurancequotes.com with at least the following modifications.
*Since Lifeinsurancequotes.com is not my web site the graphics or picture may NOT be used.
*No menu bar
*The phrase “Save with multiple quotes!” should be included below the quote button
*Include a line of insurance company logos at the bottom of the header from nation wide companies.

Contest rules:
No design or questions will be accepted or responded to in a PM. Submit all questions and designs only in this thread.
The contest will last 60 hours or until a clear winner is determined.
The winning entry will be awarded $65.00

Since i didnt get picked for the logo contest, il try this xP (lol)
So let me make this clear, you dont want navigation on the header ?
But do you want it on the right hand side ?
Anyway i'll start soon.

 

The only action on the header should be zipcode entry and the quote button. The remainder should be as you said on the right hand side.

Thanks for starting with the first entry with post #8. The picture color is so close to the logo, you may want to tweek the blues in the rest of the page. Also the Header is nice and big as requested. I thought the star scape is a very inventive choice for the header picture. Unfortunately I am looking for something a little more down to earth. Perhaps a picture of happy healthy people. Please don't forget to add the "get quotes" button over the phrase "Save with multiple quotes!" in your next revision.(see the Header requirements) I would prefer that the button be where you put the logo so the logo might best fit on the right side. Please consider placing the website title and/or the company slogan some where on the header. Your great idea of slider text at the footer might also be a good place for the company slogan! Over all good first entry to this contest!

I really like the layout you have so far. Really only minor adjustments. The font for the slogan should be smaller. Please make it smaller than the font for the button. Please change the button color. Perhaps a shade of red so that it is the only thing of that color in the header. I look forward the your completed entry.

How embarrassing for me the web page title should end with "Family Defender" not as I have written "Family Gardian"!

I mis-typed my website title, it is not : Insurance Store Financial Protector - Family Gardian

It should be: Insurance Store Financial Protector - Family Defender

This really is a great header! I am impressed. Please revise a couple of things.

Header:
*Please get rid of the grey around the logo. (You may have to replicate a cloud around some portion of the logo so that it does not get lost in the sky.)
*Please change the button text to read: Get Quote
*Please add a drop down box under the zip code box. Title this: Type of insurance? (They will be choosing from Life, Auto, Health, Home)
*Please make the "Enter Zip Code" and "Type of Insurance" font smaller because I want to minimize moving the button down as much as possible.
*Please place these three elements in a container so that the user knows that those three thing belong together.

Menu Bar:
Please design a title and at least one menu item.

Footer:
Please take everything under the line in the content container and put it in a footer.

Thanks for the revisions so far. I can only think of three things now.
*The logo for FAHP at the bottom of the header has an outline of Florida. Could you replace that one with another. Perhaps one of the following: Statefarm, Prudential, Metlife or something else.
*Please separate the menu bar container from the footer container
*You designed the title for the menu bar. Please design at least one menu item.
