Hi I have came up with this in theory and am on my way to test how far I can get with it. ok I've found a micro niche and have made a small website on it. My main keyword is the domain name and it gets searched 6 million times a month and there are only 100k page with the "term" so top ranking is possible. Anyway if I have a click through rate of 1% and say for arguments sake I get $1 a click. That means 1$ for every 100 visitors. Now say I get number one and get 6 million views a month that will be $60 000 in one month! Now obviously I will not get 6 million visits in a month even at number one but even half that for being number one on google is possible which will result in 30k a month I would be stoked with even 1million visits a month. However to add to that as well my click through rate could even be 2 or 3% with good add placement which doubles or trebles the money. Also to add to that money could be made through affiliate sales. It all just seems so possible but where does it go wrong(does it) or do people make this kinda money all the time? I know the guy that owns plenty of fish is the highest adsense earner making 10k a day from it. Ive made my website and am now going to spend the rest of the month building backlinks for it and improving ad placement then evaluate it.
In theory you can make a lot of money with AdSense, but when it comes to reality something like that is almost never possible. 1. Did you look at exact searches? 2. Are there not already a very hard competition? 3. Do you know the real CPC of the keyword? 4. Will you be able to get targeted visitors from the right country? I highly doubt a keyword like that is left unnoticed until now.
I got my keywords from google adwords tool, yea there are a couple of hard competitive pages like wikipedia but its low competition and would be possible to get a first page, anything is possible. how do i find the real cpc
ok i had a look again on google adwords and i didnt see the boxes to the left broad, phrase and exact when i tick exact it goes from 6 million to 390. what do they mean? I guess this will be completely pointless then
It means that the amount of people actually searching for the keyword you're targeting is only 390 people each month.

ok howcome the broad one comes up with 6 million how do they get that figure? does it take into consideration all the different searches with those keywords, whats phrase search how does it work?
