Probably is a reversal, run a report:

1 - Select "Commission Detail" On first Combo Box
2 -Select the adequate Period (for example month of May)

You will see the commissions that has been reversed in Red.

Normally the advertises do the reversals in this period of the month (the commissions lock every day 10 of each month)

you can click on detail on the left to check why each one has been corrected.

This is normal: No advertise should pay commission for a a sale that has been returned or for a order from an invalid credit card for example.

Yes thats totally normal. I get maybe 10-15% corrected each month. I'm satisfied with it.

But they were leads, not sales-- no products to return. I think it is lame if merchants don't verify the leads as they get them, but yea, even they can be reversed at the end of the month.

I have one merchant (my favorite) that has never, ever done a reversal. Either they eat them for their affiliates or they are somehow better than everyone else at verifying credit cards as they come in and no one makes returns.

Some merchant has specific rules for reverse a lead like for example a loan that do not accept applications from an unemployed person.

I think CJ could do a better job of letting new publishers know about reversals, I had the same shock last month as I lost a nice chunk of my balance. (it was all from 1 adversiter).

They do it all the time. The leads were probably invalid or not up to the requirement of the merchant.

Well, they were mortgage leads, I can't imagine they we're really not good. It's just an application that is filled out.

They do, they put it in red... if you preferred an email I think that would be overkill...

I think alph means about a better clarification - like a pre explanation or a tutorial before the shock all we had on first month.

Right...exactly. The very first month it happens is quite surprising...of course I know the drill now.
