I'm looking to sell an established website. The domain is

    http://www.webmesh.co.uk

Registered in Feb 2001 with over 450 pages online most of which are PR2 or 3. The pages are dated and could do with updating but the content has made them popular.

There is a great opportunity to monetize this site, we've barely scratched the surface but I've got no time to do so. It currently makes a bit over $30 a month, US$34.77 in november from adsense but we've only put the adverts on a few pages, if you were to put some on every page you'll see this grow.

    Traffic (mostly organic)

8500+ Unique visitors every month (usually near 9000, sometimes over)
    95,000+ Hits a month

Traffic was higher when I had time to promote it but it's been over a year since then and it's dropped, wouldn't be too hard to raise it up again.

In November we had 52.2% of our traffic from search engines and 44.4% direct requests, the rest came from other websites.

    Link Backs

links: www.webmesh.co.uk in google suggests 1,150 links back to us
    Yahoo says 1,560

Okay I'm looking for sensible offers here, this is already a money making site but you could massively improve it with a little work.

    Proof of traffic on inquiry

For the record, this site does currently make a small income in the $35 range a month but with a little work could easily be doing double or triple that, we just don't have the time.

A word of advice - you will end up a better final fugure and more interest if you start with a low bid price! With that said I'd like to start the bidding at $300.00......

Why don't you just do that "bit of extra work" so it's earning easily "double or triple" what it's earning now then come back here and demand the thousands you think it's worth?

As it is no one will want to start bidding much higher than $300 (apart from those mysterious PM bids that these sites seem to get of course).
