Not really, I was searching on archive.org and I saw my domain was about 6 years old and it was for sale back in 2001. It also had a small directory: http://web.archive.org/web/20010302164147/http://www.pukt.com/ .. How old are your directories?
I hand regged my domain last in year and started the directory in August. But still, I was surprised to see it was so old.

Best Directories is just over 1 year old, I will be registering the domain for 10 years later this year.
Voisd domain bought in 2004 but not used for a webmaster directory until 2005 (as i remember) - i started off doing it all by hand... needless to say i soon turned to a script
SeoMoz used to say that my domain GeneralDirectory.us was about 2000 days old. But now they show "Data not found" error
DNScoop doesn't really show how old the domain is, only how old the current site is. According to DNScoop my site is 1 Years, 2 Months, 14 days old, while archive.org has snapshots of my domain since March 2001 ( http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.pukt.com ).
razvan than your directory is not 6 years old ... it is 1 year old ... Only the domain is 6 year old it can be done if someone buy or obtain an old domain without having it expire ... maybe own a domain for tht long and than decide to change it to a directory...
Correct... though the domain age is supposed to be a factor i dont exactly agree with that view... http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.fmuk.net Fmuk is my oldest domain 1999... thx malcolm
