    1) Use pictures

Whenever possible, use pictures to demonstrate a point or just to liven up the blog. Pictures speak a thousand words and people relate well to good pictures that make them think.

    2) Always be consistent

Make sure your posts don’t veer of course from the blog’s theme. Also, try to blog often so that you will stay in your reader’s minds. Blog readers like to read blogs which are regularly updated, so stick to a certain posting schedule.

    3) Include RSS

Give your blog RSS capabilities and allow your readers to subscribe to your RSS feed. This way, they’ll be updated whenever you make a new post.

    4) Post unique information

Although many people make a living just reselling information, others do appreciate it when you post unique content. Make sure your content is compelling as well. Just keep practicing, and you’ll get better at it.

    5) Market your blog

This is a given, but if you don’t market your blog, no one’s going to visit it! Use common online marketing techniques to promote your blog, and always ping it for a steady stream of visitors.

    6) Use contextual links

Embed affiliate links in your text, so the reader won’t feel he is being sold to. For example, use certain keywords in your articles to link to affiliate programs, of which when they buy, you make a commission.

Best thing I've tried lately was add an email subscription option to the blog. The email signups outpace one of my blog's subs 3 to 1! It would depend on the niche though and how blog savvy your readers are. Still a good idea to add though. Feedburner has a free tool for this.

21 link to other posts in other blogs you own. start another blog and blog about postsyou have seen in the first 2 blogs. write an article linking to a blog post in your first blog then blog from your second blog about the article which links to your first blog.

create a network i think is the easy way to say it.
