Because he is utterly insane. A warmongering hawk riddled with desease that is unlikely to be alive for much longer.

I truly believe that he will be more dangerous to the safety of the world than Bush, it's a serious problem and should frighten the life out of all of us. Thankfully I think the Republicans will lose this election after 8 years of disastrous tenure.

    Fingers crossed. ;)

How is he insane? To me he seems docile. How could he be more dangerous to the world.? The President is not a dictator.

Ah, so you still believe in the illuminati conspiracy stuff? The all knowing and puppet controlling illuminati that alex jones believes controls the world and especially the leaders picked, just had a minor setback then? Maybe they just didn't get the memo about aids being in the corn?

    Heh :D

    Oh, please.

At least get your facts straight. He never left a "million dollar job" before moving to Chicago.

That is simply not true. I played in a concert in the park with a community band every Thursday this summer in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Patriotic music and Show tunes mostly. Come early for the hot dogs and ice cream social. It was Mayberry. I loved it.

That is the America that out polititians need to be reminded of.

You are right that that kind of America does not exist on the left coast.

Before you let him fool you. please do the math. He is offering over $800,000,000,000 (that's BILLION with a B) in services and handouts with no tax increase for those that make less than $250,000? How will that happen?

How can he promise to not raise taxes when he has pledged to roll back the Bush tax cuts. Which is the lie?

Experience isn't an issue here... or at least shouldn't be. Obama doesn't have any either. ;)

Personally, I hear a whole lot of crying from the Democratic side. I think it was a brilliant pick. One thing I made note of in the "6 things to note from his pick" was the first one essentially saying that polls shouldn't matter, then in the same breath references polls for states that are close. I love it. I agree though, if there is anything that we should have learned from 2004 that if anything is out of touch with the American people, it is the poll results.
