My "6 Reasons to Stop Eating Meat Today" thread is causing a good exchange so here is another on cow's milk While there are many ethical and moral questions to be answered when one considers their consumption of milk, there are numerous health concerns to take into account as well. This piece will explore some of the reasons, related both to health and ethics, to quit that nasty habit of drinking cow’s milk. Click here for the full article - Digg it if you like it!
To tell the truth, I can agree with you on what you wrote and your reasons this time for this milk issue. And you are rgiht we are drinking other animal's milk. Prevention of milk consumption speeches have done through many phds, professors, and respected wellknown researchers from universities and firms. And I support that we need to stop consuming other species' milk. However if we were to approach to stop mil consumption, I think we need to solve the concurrent neccessities for milk for healthier bones, teeth, and such. Since we can't rely upon our mothers, and other umm milk producing human being's milks at certain age, we need alternative resource on it. So we have to share with others (of course after treatments).
yes you're right. I like soy milk better too to be honest. As for kids, until certain age they need maternal or similar source. (I forgot the age average though) I mean say certain avg age is 5 At younger age, they have maternal milk but afterwards they need similar source and thats where cow or in some countries goat (very rare) milk come in till age 5 as replacement for maternal.
I hate milk & honestly have not had a drop of it in at least 25 years. I would probably like it now, but ohh well.
