Also, don't forget that ClickBank also offers PayPal as a payment option. This payment method relies on people being redirected to PayPal to complete the payment process. Many people could get to the PayPal stage and back out of the sale, or their Instant Transfer doesn't work, they don't have enough funds in their account, forget their password, can't log in, realize they are using an old PayPal account that is not up to date, etc. There are many reasons why a sale could be declined or not accepted. But in order to even get to PayPal, they have to submit the Order through ClickBank first.
I suppose that credit card get declined or there might be some other reasons for such horrible stats. I was looking one day into one of my clickbank accounts and couldn't believe what I was seeing; 29 Order Form Submit Count with One Gross Sale. I emailed clickbank and they've gave the same explanation that I wrote above. Credit Cards get declined or there might some other system errors. Now if it were Clickbank's fault I have been losing over $600 NET for that day.. I hope things will change soon. The funny thing is that only one of the products that I promote has a tendency to get these type of stats which really worries me.
So if you have say 567 order form impressions, 103 order form submits but only 82 gross and net sales, what does that mean? Guys, could someone explain these stats to me pls? Thnx.

I was worried also when I got a lot of order form submits from different countries and no sales. While it is very possible people could not enter their billing details correctly, I believe something else might be the issue. I tried recently to purchase something from Clickbank and my credit card got declined, but when I used Paypal and the same CC with Paypal, the sale went through. Their system is probably not perfect, but if they were intentionally messing with it, I don't believe they would make this data available. With other networks you don't have any idea how many times someone tries to purchase something and you only get notified when the sale goes through. IMO this is very good info. If you get a lot of order form submits, then your marketing efforts are good and sales are just matter of time. You just have to keep doing what you already do.
Someone should audit Clickbank and signup for their own product or have friends signup for your product. If they successfully signup and you don't get credit for it then you know something is wrong
I am going to launch a product on clickbank soon and this is a bit worrying if sales are going missing
