    Google gives you a high ranking because of your backlinks. Yahoo will give you an excelent ranking if you get a link from a high ranking site in yahoo.

    Yep. I second that. Google is better and monetizing there traffic (as well as our traffic >.< )

    Yahoo! is lame, they accept maybe 1% of people who apply, there loss :p

    Claudek is right. I always do my best to rank well on Google and Yahoo. Since Google is more unstable, I need a backup. Though Yahoo is only has about 1/3 of the search traffic of Google.

    There are also free directories that have good PR. I prefer the free one than to pay dollars.
