Who is excited for 6 NATIONS? Is this the most exciting rugby tournament in the world? Go Wales by the way.
In terms of quality of play, the erstwhile Tri Nations (or the RC as it is known now) beats the 6N hands down. However for passion and excitement, 6N trumps 3N, which suffers on account of the huge distances between the participating countries.
I agree. I think the southern hemisphere rugby has grown in quality more than any other. It even keeps growing tremendously. I can't even imagine how RC will be when Argentina gets in better shape. I really like the 6 Nations though. Tradition, passion and good Rugby all in one place. Hopefully championships like this take the place that they deserve publicly. I'm in Hawaii, and I have to wait until late at night to watch the games, hoping that no one tells me the results before hand!
Do you watch Super Rugby? Best club competition in the world. New season started today. Pity they're completely butchering it next season by making it S18
Yes I do. I am particularly following the brumbies this year. They seem to have a very complete and beautiful game. They started strong; we'll see if they keep it up against the chiefs though.
Brums have started well and Larkham's imprint on them looks stronger this season. They did look good in that 47-3 spanking of the Reds, although don't think Qld made much of an attempt to compete. They've got a great starting XV, but not so sure about depth in some key positions. If they stay injury free (esp key players like Moore, Pocock, Fardy, Toomua and TK), they're very much in with a shout come finals time.
