Alright folks, international rugger returns in 2012 with the Six Nations.

You'd have to think of France as favourites, especially if PSA can extract the best out of his players.

Unlike Mr. Moustache, who chose a scrumhalf like Parra to play as a fly-half, PSA will play Trinh-Duc at 10. Strong forward pack, good at scrums and in the lineout, they've got everything going on paper for them.

Wales seem to have lost a bit of steam after their WC performances, but I'll comment after seeing them against Ireland tomorrow. Ditto for Lancaster's lads after the Calcutta Cup clash.

Italy did pretty much the same thing they've done for years- give the opposition a bit of a scare in the opening period, but their lack of finishing ability and the opposition's class puts paid to their hopes in the end. Parisse great as usual, but their backline need to improve if they are to score tries. Fofana at centre was a real find, especially in the second half.

Having said that, England weren't anything great against Scotland- Italy will provide a sterner test at the Olimpico next week.

Wales-Ireland was obviously the pick of the lot. I thought Wales' dodgy kicking would again cost them the game despite they being the better side ( as it did against France in the WC semifinals), but that last gasp penalty got them the victory. Tad unlucky for Ferris though- Davies got the same punishment despite doing something far worse
