Hi guys, I am trying to do SEO for a Social bookmarking site. Something is going wrong with this site. Its a social bookmarking site, which uses Pligg CMS. Its been around for nearly 6 months now. I have tried a bit of link building. But the PageRank is till N/A. I would be happy atleast if the PR is 0. There are nearly 10,000 indexed links of this site on Google. But it shows no linkback at all, even though i have been doing some link building and the Goolge crawlers visits the site Daily. Can anyone please, see if you can find out whats wrong with the site. according to google quality and relevancy of a link really helps.. so you might want to consider those factors before the next PR update..
Does it come up on a search? weird for a site that's 6 months old. i would try to search for your site on google, see if it's coming up. How long have you been building links for it? Edit: Ok I just went and searched for it I keyed in buzz faabo.com and you came up #1!! I bet you just need to wait a bit, then on the next update you should see the N/A change.
Thanks for the reply guys! @Bogs Might as well try to find some relevant link backs for the site. @Groov I was not doing any hardcore link building, since the beginning, but from my experience with websites and pagerank, this should have atleast to PR 1. I think as you said i just have to do some good link building and hope for the best! BTW, does do follow blog commenting still works for getting link back?
I actually couldn't tell you what works. My site's only a 0. So I just keep doing everything I can possibly.
Hello, Ummm well i suggest you change youe website content & meta tag. after that makes backlinks like submit directories inn pr3,4,or 5 do forum posting & blog posting
Do you have backlinks from high PR pages? If no, then this might serve your purpose. Before the next Google PR update, try getting links from high PR pages and your homepage PR will surely shoot up.
Why don't you buy a PR1 backlink @ $10/year and then see that your website has become a PR1 !!!!! Andika Adi S1
Keep building links.. surely you will get page rank.. no worry about it.. there are many way to build links like Article submissions, directory submissions, one way links, forum posting, blog posting, blog commenting..more.. keep doing these work.. you will get page rank soon..
You need to do build mor and more link Google gave page rank if you have quality link you can try Directory Submission, Article Submission, few link from another social bookmarking site, blog comment, forum posting etc
