I was wondering if it really is a must to have a 6 months old domain in order to get accepted at Adsense...?

I want to start a blog, and my content is going to be written by me taking other sources as inspiration.

So, what do you guys think ;)...?

    Thanks.

I haven't heard such a rule to get accepted by Adsense. Once you have an Adsense account, you can add your codes to your sites regardless of how old they are.

You can apply with a blogspot blog if you still think that they have such a rule. I applied with a blogspot blog years ago. I remember that they approved my blog in less than 2 days. However, I am not from any of the countries mentioned above. They might have some country basis requirements.

the 6 month rule works like this google doesn't want a 6 month old domain with few pages what google wants wants is a site that has been active for 6 months and has original content 50-100 pages on it.you can get accepted in one or two month you just have to publish 60-80 pages or more of original quality content, add few features like search engine, sitemap, feed to your site and then submit to adsense you will get accepted if you don't add more pages and try after one or two month.

My domain was old, but it was parked for months, then a week after adding content, Adsense approved me, so if you buy old domains that were once active, this does not apply.

As I said, im not referring to how long you need to wait in order to get approved, but rather, how old must your domain name or site be...

There are lot of myths regarding getting a Google Adsense account approved.

I am from India and had applied for an Adsense account just last week for my official company website and it got approved within 48 hours. So, this rules out the country-based requirement mentioned above.

Now, my website explains my business and some details of my products in less than 25 odd pages - so this even rules out a specific number of page requirements mentioned above. And I am sure there are quite a lot of other illogical myths.

My advise to anyone would be to just read the guidelines laid by Google mentioned on their website and stick to them for having an account approved.
    Cheers :)

If only all people in India writes as well as you, then there wouldn't be this many whining and crying of not getting approved from this country.

I've heard this, but essentially on niche blogs, content quality and number of visitors to your blog / website. In accordance with my observations, the number of blogs in a niche bordered by google ...

Quality will always be the top concern for Google.
If you have a website that is easy to navigate, understand and delivers unique content then
you will have no problems getting an AdSense account. I have never heard of someone getting a "no" from
Google just because their website was not 6 months old. Though, I can't argue that an older website tend to have
a higher chance of getting accepted due to Trust Rank.
