# 6 Google Result for 'namecheap'

    I was just looking at some of the traffic I was getting from google and noticed I was getting some from the serach namecheap which was going to the namecheap coupon page, http://coupon.sc/namecheap. Apparently, I'm on the first page, 6th result to be exact on google for the term namecheap.

    Is this pretty good for 332,000 results for namecheap on Google?

    What work did you do in terms of SEO - eg. hiring a SEO company etc.

    I didn't do anything special in terms of SEO, just the basic meta tags, header tags, etc.

    If you didn't do anything special in terms of SEO I'm guessing people would have posted your site on messageboards when people ask for:

    "Namecheap coupons?" etc

    Then, replies with your URL and probably the anchor text "Namecheap Coupons" or what have you have led to your position.

    On further investigation ranking well for "namecheap" would not be hard at all.

    try searching "allinanchor:namecheap" in google. Only about 500~
