I think are using too many ads on your homepages. This is a turn off to submit my sites to a directory if all of the pages are covered in adsense ads. Just a suggestion imo.

 

I agree to too many adsense for a directory you should remove some or at least make them smaller as to not take the whole page.

 

Your site here: http://www.blfree.com/ says LOCKED BY ADMINISTRATOR when I go to "submit link" at bottom of page....that directory is not worth listing

 

Also for your GuideDirectory: this is what happens when I click "suggest listing":

so lookds like your directoris are not working....

 

also, all of the ads across the page make it so goofy to navigate...it's a turn off - n longer interested due to all this excessive junk....

Please be specific. When you say "choose category", how can one be chosen? The visitor to your directory first clicks in upper right "submit listing" THEN a page appears saying LOCKED BY ADMINISTRATOR, so you :

#1. Cannot choose a category.
#2. Cannot submit any links based on this.

Am I missing something here? Are others noticing the same aspect? Please tell what steps cvisitors need to take when opening your directory to submit, there are so many links to ads, you virtually need to weed out & wade through and stumble your way. Maybe I am in left field....who knows.

 

All the ads on your page will really turn visitors off quickly.

 

Well, that AND how to figure out listing a site. Do you do it BEFORE clicking "submit listing"? Or AFTER clicking "submit listing"....I simply give up....

Then I assume, once I do figure that out, I'll discover a reciprocal link is required.
Are there any actual smooth-running directories? I.e. places where you open up the intro page, click a category, choose whether a paid/feature or free listing (no reciprocal) is available and then list your site and submit accordingly? Something smooth and no LOCKED garbage or lines of links to ads and so forth.

For the others members, It s really wired and strange, Its a FREE offer and you will get a free link to your website and you do not have to return to the diretory SO why you dont like the ads.

Me too i have so many directories and they are free, the ads are the only revenue to pay the hosting and domain name.

Are you serious or just kidding ????????? , is it the first time that you submit to a directory ?
You try to submit to the home page, try to choose your category then click on submit,, it s tooooooo simple.

The directory have more than 30.000 websites how did they submit after you ???
