    Hello,

Adlogger just showed 4 clicks from the same user and a bit later another 2 from the that IP.
Should i be worried? This is really frustrating...

I've see multiple clicks from the same person on a daily basis, nothing to worry about.

Always keep finger cross. Google is very harsh on any kind of click fraud. Even if it is harmless, better to write a email to Google.

Just to stay at the right side of ToS.

I get panicky every time adlogger shows more than 5 or 6 clicks.. but you have to remember that Adlogger shows mouse-overs as clicks also..

Fuzzy - how many is 'multiple'? 3, 6, 9, 45? at what point do you get nervous?

It does.... therefore, we adlogger users have to be careful to factor this into our considerations. :)

    If the information's tainted, it's useless ;p

What're the primary benefits of Adlogger? I've seen a lot of Adlogger users get banned from some tracking issue apparently.

not only adlogger I think the best one in the market also shows these kind of results.

I once got 14 clicks from one IP and 1 click increase every minute. I was scared and wrote to google. Now I am convinced that there is nothing to worry because I keep getting like 8 clicks from one IP which is becoming common for me. You should be worried if the clicks are like 50 or 100.

    cheers

Sorry, I should've been more specific. Google has pointed out on occassion that Adlogger can be suspicious (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=107358&highlight=adlogger+banned), whilst a few others have reported Adlogger is giving them clicks credited to their own IP.

If all this is just rumour though (let me know if G has told you otherwise!), I'm keen on giving adlogger a good try on some new sites.

Please read that post again, and quit spreading paranoia! This user was disabled for violating the terms of service- It was her mistake!

I spotted the issue in that thread and is was related to click fraud, which is not related to Adlogger. Adlogger is a harmless but helpful tool to track your metrics-

I retract my previous statement then! Although the user was banned for click fraud, he did outright state Google said they viewed the system itself with suspicion which is what I was originally stating (although are we really to trust the testimonial of a thread written by someone who's been banned for fraud? ;)).

Any personal pros/cons of adlogger? I'm starting to see it become a viable solution to my current ad tracking.

Nothing to worry about just yet, could be anyone from someone's mom whose genuinely interested in your products to some kid who wants to see where the ads take him.

Write to Google if you really must.

Adlogger is making lots of mistakes. It tracks in a way by checking if the mouse pointer is above an adlink when a new page loads. So lots of flase clicks recorded.

Btw. Eventhough it's correct 6 lciks is nothing to worry about.

Last tuesday i got a click attack of 90% CTR. I immediately mailed Adsense support & they told me it'll be ok.

    So be cool :)

Now 11 clicks from same IP.
Hm, what's the use of adsense if it reports mouseovers ? :/
Arent there any better tracking tools, that are more in line with google stats?
