so why all the info about it being back up if he is going to scam us all?

why not just take the money and run rather than lead us all on thinking it will be back up soon?

please stop pushing other peoples services in here. we are all big boys and girls and will be able to find another host just fine.

there is no way coming into a thread like this, especially after just signing up, and pushing another hosting service is going to look ok on any level.

stop, think about it...how does it look? not good.

That's right. And if you choose "the product is not what i expected" or something like that, it will be reverted instantly and given to the seller.
You have to choose "i did not receive the product" to have some possibilities.

    That quite Sad..
Its quite strange how host disappear in mid air leaving people strangled. even if you go out of business you should give people proper notice. does this guy have any legal presence ?

Did anyone tried to contact him via telephone or directly on their whois address

Also, People next time find a Stable provider who atleast is registered as a company. lastly, don't forget to keep your *own* backups

I still don't understand why someone who is trying to scam people would lead them on that it is going to be fixed. Why not just skate from the get go with everyones money instead of passing messages on ect...

...only reason to go through the pain of leading people on would be to make the pain of lost money and data even worse. It would seem to be counter productive to someone trying to steal peoples money to continue to lead them astray with false info after the fact.

Anyway...if this truly is a scamming situation, I will be truly disappointed. I still have faith that he will make this right. I will say this much, the info does not seem to match up. If the news on previous pages is accurate at all, then why would they scrap the whole business over 1 server that was hacked when the others were fine. Also, why scrap the host if he is that much in debt over the admin costs? Seems better suited to keep the host going so that there is monthly income helping pay off those admin debts quicker.

I sit and wait...like the rest of you, and hope that this is resolved with a positive outcome in the end.

Nothing positive is going to come out of this, he already made a statement that they are closing for good. He personally told me that he will not be giving refunds at this time because his paypal apprently is in negative and tons of people have already disputed on him.

The only reason that I can think of (pretty smart one if you ask me) is for him to look like his actually trying to fix things so that he would not get ban. Notice that he is currently not PERMANENTLY, he probably got ban until a certain date because of some infractions he did.

Lucky me, I just saved their full site some minutes ago (including TOS). I mean the former site, as it was still online at http://your1hoster.com/status/ as I stated.
    Might be worth something.

(I asked him first if the notice on the site was true)

    jetfighter2011 (11:44:41 AM): Yes it's true
jetfighter2011 (11:44:45 AM): I am moving your VPS over
jetfighter2011 (11:44:49 AM): So you can grab your files
Markeedragon11 (11:51:30 AM): would people be able to get a refund ? I recently just paid a whole month..
    jetfighter2011 (11:51:43 AM): It depends
    Markeedragon11 (11:51:54 AM): on?
jetfighter2011 (11:52:24 AM): We don't have the money to refund people at this moment - too many people filed disputes and we had to pay singlehop too much
Markeedragon11 (11:53:00 AM): pay singlehop a lot for nothing?
    jetfighter2011 (11:53:07 AM): Uh
    jetfighter2011 (11:53:10 AM): Sys admin fee's were
    jetfighter2011 (11:53:16 AM): $75 a hour, we used about 8 hours
jetfighter2011 (11:53:24 AM): Plus another hour thismorning to assess the damage
jetfighter2011 (11:53:32 AM): So, like $675 in sys admin fees I HAD to pay
Markeedragon11 (11:53:36 AM): you do know that if a lot of ppl file disputes its just going to ruin your paypal account and refund every single one
    jetfighter2011 (11:53:50 AM): Yeah
jetfighter2011 (11:53:53 AM): They already have done that
Markeedragon11 (11:54:22 AM): well than can you just give back the money for the month I recently payed and than I won't have to bother you
jetfighter2011 (11:54:41 AM): Paypal's in the negative man
jetfighter2011 (11:54:49 AM): I can't pay anyone back, I have lots of people to pay back

After reading through this thread, didn't they say there "other servers" are up? How could 1 server bring down a company? Obviously it was a lie from the very beginning. As there weren't any customers of theirs saying that their VPS was online and on a different server, everyone reported the same issues. They had 1 server hosting all the VPS's, their main website, their client area, etc... Any company that puts everything on 1 server is joke as they are trying to squeeze every dollar. To bad that 1 server took out a whole company.
