    i cannot stand godaddy. Its one of the most un user friendly sites i have ever been to. If this was namecheap then woohoo! :p

    I have heard far too many people having problems with 1and1. That price is a bit less than they have to pay for the name, so there has to be more to it.

    I have few domains with 1and1. Their interface is slow, but how often you login to your domain control panel. Apart from it, they are just fine IMO

    People, stay away from Godaddy.

    If you are selling or doing anything related to mailing list or contacting people, don't use Godaddy.

    If Godaddy receives spam complain, they will freeze your domain immediatly and ask you to pay $200 "for investigation". If you do not pay, you are automatically guilty and domain will stay down + they have this nice message appearing on freezed domain "This domain has been freezed because spam activity" or similar.

    Now that's what I call customer service.
