6,174 Impression with 864 Unique visitors , Guess how many $$$ i made ?

Don't put ads at the top. I don't know why but it just doesn't appeal to some people. I always try to diguise mine as much as I can without breaking google's TOS but sometimes it is hard t do that with some sites.

 

I got 400 impressions on a site and made over five dollars that day.

It is looking nice but ad placement is not fine i guess..

Also u can use "Text Links Ad" (The Ad with which comes in a single line). It would certainly help u to get more clicks..

I have a number of sites and I can confidentially say that music, videogames, kid stuffs would not give much earnings. USD0.10 or a bit more (USD0.15) probably because

Forget about keywords, colors, placements, etc. unless you are to get more than 100,000 visits per day (100,000 x 1% x USD0.10 = USD100/day).

 

You guys make some good points but are missing the MOST OBVIOUS reason for this site not making any money:

90% of the visitors are from Thailand.

In general, humor and game sites don't get much per click... but when the audience is NON-US then it's even worse.

Just click the stats counter logo on the bottom of the page for full stats.

 

Not 864 clicks, 864 unique visitors. Only a few of them would have clicked.

 

I only see 1 google adsense block and that one is rotating with adbrite. So, naturally, you are not giving yourself much of a shot to make any revenue.

My advise is to just use adsense to start off and add some more units. Add like a link unit to the left side or something.

Right now your current position just screams,"I'm an ad, ignore me." A good 3-4 hours of reading this forum should provide you with enough information to get your numbers up.

 

I think the number 1 problem would be the site design, very unattractive and unprofessional. colors are random and don;t match. fix design and CTR will go up natrually

 

Thanks everyone , My site is now bandwidth exceeded (by the visitors). So i'm upgrading my hosting and wait for the domain dns transferring.

antithesis_98 , The stat above is 3 days , By checking adsense log , It's now last 3 days about 7900 impression and i made $2.8 and my last 3 days average is $0.93

Thanks Itsme , the most visitors are from thailand because i'm getting beta user from my homeland. (where i can promote easily) When it's fully completed i'll promoting them internationally (But my english is bad)

Thanks Thirdchair , I can't find out why my ads screaming "I'm Ads". I make it black background and white text.

and i think the design is ok but i don't have to abillity to design it. All i do best is to php code with it.

Personally i think like you it's not good that visitors clicked ads with my trick.

I just wonder it's ads impression or your website impression?

mine is about 5000 - 6000 ads impression and got average at $9.

you got about the same unique visitors as I got so you can earn more. try to move the placement around.

I thought that mine just earn low already!
