This is the Nacho logo contest with a HIGHER REWARD! $6 if a winner is picked "over time" $10 if someone impresses me (Will buy on the spot) The logo will be going mainly on game/software intros (title screens). The logo must have the words "Nacho Soft" and also something to be the "icon" (like the linux penguin is to linux) the "icon" can be a Nacho or anything, the logo can not be only text it has to have more than just text. MOST OF ALL the logo MUST be editable in photoshop and WILL NOT lose ANY quality when re-sized! (I think this would be called vector... as long as it meets those two things I don't mind how its made) I will provide prompt and useful feedback to all entries!

For those that want more details go HERE (old thread that has some good ideas) The size can really be any since I need it to be re-sizable without quality loss. @offiri0 Very neat! Now if you can please make the salsa into cheese and make it with a little "glare" (a VERY soft, natural looking one like in the image in the background of your entries *if its the same one than please make that glare a little more noticeable on the chip) The reflection is cool too! If you can though maybe angle to the right a LITTLE. As for the salsa being cheese in that thread I gave there the last entry by Eoz has a really good cheese example and so does the first entry on that thread. Your text is ok, make the soft maybe a cheese color now, the nacho need more "dots" (a few more) As for the face on the chip... very good idea I think but maybe make the mouth have cheese around it, or have him chewing a nacho (like cheese strings while chewing) TO EVERYONE offiri0 had a good entry but it needs "more" like it needs to seem more "busy" A good example of have a "scene" type logo is big fish (below) they have there name, there "icon", and a "background" image that ties it all together
To those that can not think of any "idea" but want to enter here are two off the top of my head that might be good. Have a bowl of nachos and spell out nacho soft in cheese or Have nach soft standing in a bowl of cheese @Eoz The cheese on your nacho looks GREAT, if you could please make the S in soft capital, and somehow make it so it seems the cheese is dripping from the nacho onto the CD (maybe add a drop of cheese falling) and than add a pool of cheese around "soft" as if the nacho was loaded with cheese and it dripped off onto Soft. @evolva I like your lettering for Nacho! looks good, "soft" looks a little too cheesy (no pun intended) it just doesnt look as nice as Nacho does, and your "icon" is crafty but it leaves me wondering from a client standpoint (as if someone just seen my logo) why there is a "block" of cheese there and not a bowl of nachos. @offiri0 I like your text for "soft" looks good, the nacho having a face is a good idea but like I suggested maybe have it doing an action (like chewing nachos, or even have cheese around his mouth like he was eating the nachos) I like the style of text for the "cho" of nacho but the N is too roundish to me (maybe not a big deal once you revamp your "icon") The circle does tie it together but it just doesnt seem to really fit to me for some reason I like how the nacho text goes outside of the circle making it feel like it has no real boundaries very neat but the circle itself just doesnt seem like something that goes real well with it all. (but i do think having a "background" is a great thing)

I sent ya a message evola @offiri0 HAHA looking good! The nacho looks very funny the only thing that "bothers" me with the nacho is his eye color (not sure what color would be better, maybe his eyes are just a little too "cartoony" for me, maybe make them more "real" but not a serious type real though.... maybe just make them not look as "crazy" but keep that small cartoon like edge though) and the "soft" looks GREAT great choice of text and color I love its angle too! As for the the Nacho text add more "spots" maybe like one more "spot" a letter and also make the cheese on the *TOP* of the "o" have a small soft glare and also add more cheese to the "Nacho" letters (not much like the O looks good and the N is ok weird position though for the cheese on it). The "soft" text like I said is GREAT but the background behind the text needs to be a little lighter to make the soft more noticeable. Now the bacground idea is cool! I like it BUT to me it looks like a plate and it doesnt have the same feel as the text does (nice round and soft) it looks more shadowy and too much light effect, also the cheese in the middle doesnt have enough definition... maybe make like a spot or spots were it looks like the cheese has been "used" with "ripples" something of the sort. But over all you have a great design and with that tweaking you might be the winner! (ya the eyes on the chip after a second look are good but just something not sure WHAT but something seems "off" on them... maybe the purples not being the "sameish" size makes him look a little crazy to me, you could try making the eye color a darker blue not so light)
@offiri0's Very nice! If you could add one dot on the left part of the N in nacho, and also add one more very small dot to the chip, and the cheese on the chips looks great (good positions too!) but just add color into the small BOTTOM white space on the cheese on the N and also the one on the C (there is that white space in the cheese on those two letters), the eye balls on the nacho now look GREAT but the shape if you can make it a little like you did before, just make the outside shape not so uniform, also the triangle glare at the top of the cheese bowl just make it a LITTLE smaller and turn it counter clockwise a LITTLE, and the last thing would be to make the rim of the bowl about 65% of the size it is now (keep the middle the same size!) and I love the amount that the text goes off the bowl as well as the placement of the word soft so if you could than re proportion it to looks like it does now after you make the rim smaller that would be GREAT (keep the middle the same size though... the cheese part). @Eoz If you can make the CD small (like a lowercase O) and make the dripping piece of cheese look a little more rounded and make the cheese puddle appear as if it were going around the word soft.
For tonight and tonight only if I get a logo entry that "knocks me off my feet" than I will pay $15 on the spot!
@onlyfights your text is neat but the nacho cheese does not look anything like cheese to me hehe, maybe you could try and make nachos all over the back of the text with cheese. @offiri0 Looking GREAT I think after one more tweak you will be the winner ok if you can add a little glare to the cheese on the N (on the right side like the H has that little white glare and also the glare on the N,H,and O can you make it a little more soft like on the nacho... like on the nacho it looks very good and the O looks decent but the H looks like just a white spot almost so if you can make the n,h,and o has a soft glare like the nacho does (keep the same size of glare) that would be great! The eyes are perfect! the only thing I can think of is on the outline of the right eye maybe its just the internet compressing it but it looks like he has on a little eye shadow hehe, maybe cut the inside out the black outline down a little so its not so "think". Also the triangle like "glare" you have in the cheese circle at the very top could you please turn that a little clockwise... just make it at a different angle is all that one for some reason (the angle) takes too much attention away from the text, like if I stare at the text I find myself starting to look at the triangle glare at the top... so maybe just make that little triangle glare at the top a little smaller and angle it different please. Final thing to do is to portion the text the same way it was when the rim was larger (The rim looks GREAT now btw) before the "0" in nacho has the rim underneath it... and the word soft didnt go outside of the bowl.... so think all you would really have to do there is size the text to fit the bowl like it did when there was a large rim (like just size up the edge of the rim to all the sports the text was so pretty sure all you would have to do is just size the text) Do those tweaks and you will be the winner!
