This is another one of these 'look at me! look at me!' type threads. These type of threads tend to get lots of replies and eventually turn into a flame war.
Careful dude, with 3 posts, you might be subject to backlash. DP is a place where those of us call this place home, get territorial, especially when we are called out.
wm007, I can point you to quite a few threads that the only talk is about daily income generated through xxxx program. Anyway sometimes you have to read between the lines... though some people will be confused by my main objective here I've actually achieved it... because I've raised the eyebrows of some of the players that I was possibly seeking to compare notes, help each other take our programs to the next level and possibly partnered together. P.S. Welcome to DP. AJ
With YPN I am about $1k / day, across a network of my sites. (10 - 12) Back when YPN was paying great it was closer to that mark, but can't get anywhere close now =]. But not worrying about income right now, trying to get more traffic. Hence the release of http://www.fastfreemedia.com
kip, That looks like a great traffic generating site (as well as bandwidth consuming). Best of luck... AJ
in 99% of cases, server load becomes a problem before bandwidth does. at least when you're talking about dedicated servers / colocation.
disgust, Yes you have to watch the concurrent connections especially if you are using a database and it is hosted locally. Most high-bandwidth consumers host their media content on separate server(s). This helps dramatically reduce the load on the primary web server. The ideal solution is to have two load balance web servers a separate database server and a separate farm of media content delivery servers (load balanced). AJ
ScottFish, Congratulations... custom blend is like having a diversified stock portfolio. Very Smart... AJ
Yeah, we have 4 servers spread out to even out the web portion, and the load balancing. We have done a lot of tweaks, and have a lot of bandwidth available. Also when time, and need permits, we are willing to go for more servers.
Well, also who's to say that $5,000 is going to last? Also, you have to take in acct. You make $5,000 per day, for a few years. Sell out, and your good to live the life you want, and spend it the way you want? Thats just my .02 cents
Why exactly are we entertaining this post? Anyone who comes into a forum and says "hey you all, did any of you break "the" 5k per day of earnings barrier?" as if that was some kind of barrier than any of the people on here have, is just trying to brag and say that he's better than everyone else....or just clueless to the fact that not everyone who has a website makes $1,825,000 per year with their site....give me a break guy. You think we'd be wasting our time posting on this forum if we were making that kind of money? I'd be in france or the bahamas. Secondly, I don't believe for one second that you could make $5,000 a day off of 9,000 uniques. Maybe 90,000 / day.
$5000 of 9,000 uniques does seem a bit extraordinary, but I guess its possible with a very high CPC or CTR, or a combination of both.
eProducts never stated he earns $5000 from 9000 clicks - that was tossed out there by another poster. You can guess he's getting close to $.30/click if you take his average number of clicks to be 10,500 (averaged from 9-12K) and his average income, which I believe he said was $3200. Very impressive numbers still, and maybe a little easier to swallow for the cynics out there. Please let me know if I buggered any of those numbers. It's been a few years since my consumer math class days.
